iOSとAndroidでスマートフォン市場シェア8割に - 2012年第1四半期（IDC調査）

米IDCから2012年第1四半期のスマートフォン市場に関する新たな調査レポートが発表されている。
この調査によると、第1四半期にはiOSとAndroid OSを合わせた市場シェアは全体の82％まで増加、前年同期（54％）から急速に寡占化が進んだことが明らかになったという。
Android OSのシェアは同期にスマートフォン市場の59％を占めたが、端末メーカー別ではやはりサムスン（Samsung）が1位で、Androidスマートフォンの45.4％を獲得している。またiOSのシェアは23％で、前年同期の18.3%からこちらも増加。
それに対し、他のOSは苦戦を強いられており、たとえばノキア（Nokia）ではSymbianのシェアが前年同期の26％から同期には6.8%まで減少。同時にWindows Phone7/Mobileをあわせたシェアも2.6%から2.2%へと低下し、ノキアのWindow Phone採用がまだ成果を上げていないことが読み取れる。また、RIMでも前年同期の13.6％から同期には6.4％へとシェアが大きく減少している。
端末の出荷・販売台数についても同様の傾向が見られ、Android勢は前年同期の3670万台から8990万台へと145%増加、またiPhone 4Sが出たiOも1830万台から3510万台へと88.7%増えている。これに対し、Symbian端末の出荷台数は2640万台から1040万台と60.6%減少、さらにBlackBerry端末も1380万台から970万台と30%近く減少している。
